The follow up film to Dead Hooker in a Trunk from those twisted twins, the Soska Sisters was American Mary. A film that balanced between dark humor and some confrontational horror. Katherine Isabelle, star of Ginger Snaps, is Mary, a medical student studying surgery who is desperate for money to continue her education. She is introduced to a world of underground surgeries that leads her to become a rising star in the body modification world, where she will do anything asked if the price is right.

Let's kick this month off with what is probably the most anticipated movie of the year for horror fans, Eli Roth's The Green Inferno. Development began in 2012 and the genre became a buzz that Eli Roth's next horror film was going to be a throw back to cannibal films of old. Many of us couldn't be more excited to hear this news. A new cannibal movie from someone who is actually a fan of the cannibal genre, this is going to be awesome.

There’s really no way to discuss the episode without spoilers (sweetie) so here’s the warning: SPOILERS AHEAD. I didn’t get to see the episode on Saturday as I was […]

Mensch (Yiddish: מענטש‎ mentsh, cognate with German: Mensch “human being”) means “a person of integrity and honor. Documentaries are so popular now and cover a wide variety of things. A lot of the time the movies cover tough subjects, things that are a bit of a downer or hard to watch. And movies about the […]

It’s the end of summer and we have exhausted our realm of superhero and action movies at the theaters. Now it’s time to find something a little different and offbeat. There’s a terrific new movie playing in theaters now from the director of “About a Boy”, which was one of my favorite films back […]
