Oh boy have we got big news. Three of the five members of Dr. God, the comedy troupe responsible for the yet to be released “Bloodsucking Bastards” film that we reviewed, have agreed to do an exclusive interview with us which we will be sharing on Saturday, August 22nd. We’ll be talking with Sean Cowhig, Neil Garguilo, and Dave Park. This is going to be a good one! In our short phone calls with these guys, they had us cracking up.

About Dr. God
Dr. God is a Los Angeles based comedy group that develops content for film and television, in addition to performing their unique brand of improvisational comedy live all across the country. They recently finished their first feature film, BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS, and they are currently producing the television series MOCKpocalypse for AXS TV. Individually or as a group, Dr. God has created content for Relativity Media, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Fox, Imagine Television, Warner Brothers, Disney Channel, Playboy TV, National Lampoon, TV Guide Network, IFC, AMC, CNN. Additionally, as performers they have appeared on Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, G4, The Reelz Channel, Playboy TV and innumerable web channels.
Hailing from Hamilton-Wenham, Massachusetts, Sean Cowhig graduated from Emerson College in Boston before moving to Los Angeles where he currently works as an actor, writer, producer, and improviser. Sean is one of the founding members of the comedy group Dr. God and worked as one of the writers on BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS, in which he also plays the Janitor. He also appeared on Dr. God’s MOCKpocalypse on AXS TV and has performed thousands of live shows across the country.
A native of Spotswood, New Jersey, Neil Garguilo a television actor, writer and producer based out of Los Angeles and is one of the founding members of the comedy group, Dr. God. Neil served as a writer and plays the role of Mike in the upcoming Dr. God film BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS. He also will appear in the season five premiere of the hit MTV comedy series “Awkward” Aug. 31 as Principal Cox, a role he has played for all five seasons, and in the AXS TV panel comedy series “MOCKpocalypse,” which he co-created and is an executive producer, returning Aug. 27.
Brian James O’Connell
Brian James O’Connell is one of the most innovative up-and-coming directors on the independent scene. A graduate of the prestigious UNC School of The Arts, his film credits include the horror comedy BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS, the found footage-style “Killer View”, and the raunchy, southern fried “Angry White Men” among others. Bloodsucking Bastards provided Brian the incredible opportunity to make a film with his brothers in Dr. God. In addition to the three television projects they currently have on air or in the pilot stage, Brian is writing a scripted series for the group and is attached to direct their next feature, slated for production this spring. Brian is a graduate of the prestigious North Carolina School of the Arts and moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to follow his dreams of a career in filmmaking.
David was born and raised in Dallas, Texas where he graduated from Lake Highlands High School and went on to graduate from Colgate University in New York. After working in New York and Mexico, David moved to Los Angeles where he has studied at IOWest, The Second City and Upright Citizen’s Brigade Theatre in addition to performing with Dr. God. David plays the role of Dave in Dr. God’s upcoming film BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS. His other work includes serving as executive producer and panelist on the AXS TV comedy show MOCKpocalypse, and appearances on IFC, AMC, Comedy Central and POP.
A native of northern Wisconsin and a graduate of Amherst College, Justin trained and performed as a comedy improviser in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles, including at the famed Second City and IO theaters. Justin works as a screenwriter, producer, actor and comedian in Los Angeles, where he has written numerous scripts for major studios including Paramount, Fox, Nickelodeon and the Disney Channel. Justin produced Dr. God’s first feature, BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS in addition to writing and playing the part of Andrew. Brian is represented by the Gersh Agency.
