Tonight we continue in the gothic tradition with a horror comedy packed with an all star cast both in front and behind the camera. After the success of The Raven, AIP producers Jack Nicholson and Sam Z. Arkoff, brought back Boris Karloff, Vincent Price and Peter Lorre for another fun-filled film and this time adding Basil Rathbone into the mix. To top it off the screenplay was again written by legendary horror writer Richard Matheson (who wrote tons of Twilight Zone, Night Gallery and Outer Limits TV episodes plus The Legend of Hell House, The Devil Rides Out and countless other macabre tales) and directed by Jacques Tourneur (noted for directing the original Cat People, I walked with a Zombie and Curse of the Demon.) With a line up like this you know you are info for a treat.
