This Video Shows 27 ‘The Simpsons’ Film Parodies Alongside Their References

0

Wow. Video editors Celia Gómez and Jesus Sahuquillo have taken 27 movie references from assorted seasons of The Simpsons and placed them up against their reference scenes. It’s the best thing on the internet today. See above.

The length The Simpsons animators and team went to nail the details in the scene is really impressive when placed up against the reference scenes. You can tell just how hard they worked to recreate what the director made. Matching lighting, camera angles and zoom, and expressions to make an accurate reference. It’s kind of beautiful.
