Sorry I’m late on this one. I know it came out yesterday but I just got around to watching it this morning and now I’m probably going to be late to work because I had to get it on Echo Base for you, dear readers.

This trailer is freaking awesome.

Practically speaking it does what a final trailer should do. It gives us the last bits of information and draws us in to the plot. We get the background on who Apocalypse is and what kind of team he’s assembling, it shows a young Storm and Cyclops battling each other since Storm is under the control of En Sabah Nur, the oldest and most powerful mutant on the planet, and we see a glimpse of Wolverine at the very end! Oh yeah, and the school is back. Awesome.

Basically, I’m excited. I don’t know about you guys but I loved both First Class and Days of Future Past, they were great fun, and this trailer totally reignited my passion, probably more than the last one honestly.

X-Men Apocalypse has a release date of May 27, 2016. See you there!

Tim Makoid 1/2 of the Tech/UX team duo, General Tim. As a kid Tim struggled with attention issues and always had that “doesn’t pay attention in class” bullshit on his report cards, despite good grades. It’s mostly because he was too busy reading comic books, trade mags, or playing game boy under his desk. He’s never been too good at sticking with one thing either. Despite his certain obsessions, he’s always been interested in all realms of geekhood: video games, comic books, comedy, movies, books, computers, user experience, development and music across all genres and types. “I’ve dabbled in everything. Hence why EchoBa.se is such a great home for me. I don’t often frequent just one corner of the internet because I’m always looking for different points of view, and this place has that!”
